I do! We actually have two of them. Mint condition with the exception of a small ding in one. Not sure if we are using them or not....

Finally finished the frame hoop and seat mounts. New seat fits like a glove, surprisingly. I wish there was a way to run stock exhaust but cut off those rear exhaust mount brackets, but I’m not seeing a way around it.

This is a build thread for my girlfriend and I's current build. We found two 1978 Suzuki GS550'S in a barn preserved with oil sprayed all over them(the owner did this with all 20 vintage motorcycle projects sitting in his barn). We brought the motorcycles home, stripped them completely down, and...

Any tips on getting it to start? Things that people maybe look over on accident?

It's all done! Now if only I could fire it up! I'm getting fuel, I can smell it in the cylinders. I see spark, BUT the spark looks pretty weak. Like you can't really see the spark in daylight. Should the spark be more intense?

Instead of filing the find I decided to paint them. Built a battery box last night.

Mounted exhaust and started grinding down the gas tank to give it a bare metal finish. Then all it needs is wired up!!

Scored a CB gas tank instead of the CL. It looks soooo much better than the CL one. Still debating on if I want to keep the seat I made or go full on brat style. Also picked up an antigravity battery to see how well it works. I was putting the jugs on and broke a piston ring....which sucked...

Motor is in. Waiting for top end to show up so I can mount that. But it's coming along!

Just trouble checking before I put these jugs on. The arrow on the piston is pointing forward. Correct?

It's been a long couple weeks. My girlfriend took off work for a couple weekends so I had to be a good boyfriend and go do couple things and what not. BUT NOW, I had this whole weekend to do stuff! Yes! I put the crankcase together and put the pistons on. Went to put the cylinders on and...

Cleaned the motor completely out, and painted it! I'm getting ready to order some parts to pretty much get the whole motor built. At the moment I only really need gaskets. Anybody have any recommendations of what else I may need to build this? I need a new ignition set as well. Ebay seems to...

I have an engine case I need to clean so I can paint it. How can I clean this thing? Can I just power wash it after spraying some carb cleaner on it? Can I just go to the car wash and clean the crap out of it?
