    my cb650 build -- which seat???

    There's not a lot of CB650 builds because they did not sell a lot of CB650s. I'm building an adaptor plate for the Brembo slave cylinder. I got it beacause a Brembo slave and master off a late 90's Ducati is not much more $$ than a full rebuild kit for the CB650 brakes... And my brakes...

    my cb650 build -- which seat???

    I have too much stuff to do to try to make a seat at this point, and I'd rather burn time on stuff like adapting a Brembo caliper for the front brake, and making ths suff I can't buy -- like battery boxes, and riding! I like the Manx, but the battery issue is a bg deal... I also like the first...

    my cb650 build -- which seat???

    My build.. Which seat? The bike will end just ast the rear shocks, so all four seats will need to be trimmed to a point. The Roc City seats will let me hide teh battery, so no need for a battery box somewhere inconspicuous, so teh $$ is not that much of a consideration; the "Norton"...

    thought so.... Are the Roc City seats strong enough to bolt directly to the frame? I'm thinking about getting this seat;

    CB 650

    After letting it sit in the garage, I can nw proceed with my cafe build after I found a used head I can swap out so I don't have to mess with the jammed (and broken) spark plug and the screw extractor that's stuck inside it. Question though -- I know Roc City Seats are popular here -- do you...

    Love the bike... I really like the fact that it is still a Honda, but cafe'd. Where in CLT are you ? I am in the Univ area.

    A different tank option for my cb750... What do you think?

    reminds me of a Monster... If you can somehow mold the seat into the tank (or lose/fill the seat flange) it'll look better.

    I would prefer to have the light on the tail, but I can make otehr arrangements so I can have all the electrics in there.

    MotoFiaccone Cafe Racer Seats

    Thanks for the clarification -- I was realy concerned about the hold at least the battery. I was planning on fabricating a tray that bolts onto the frame. I picked up a gel battery and the dimensions are 6" log X 3.5" wide X 6" high -- do you think it'll fit?
