So re did the connections and im good with the turn signals. They are now working. The odd thing is the indiclight only lights up for one side not both. I switched the wires for the indicator and its only one side. The positive line not the negative. Can i just make a splitter for this?
I cut back the terminals and tested the wires bare, and its giving me a reading of 00.0. Its no longer showing 0.L.
I'm going to redo the connections and try the turn signals tomorrow.
Sonreir you have been extremely helpful. Thank you!!!!! I'll let you know when I redo the connections and...
ok if I did this correctly I got zero for resistance. I disconnected the wires from the bikes harness. I took the negative line on the multimeter and connected it to the brown wire coming out of the Left Hand Controls and then the positive line on the multimeter to the Brown/white wire coming...
I took the running light cables out, nothing
I have a set of single filament lights and tried that in the front, nothing.
I connected single filament signals on the front and back for just the left side, nothing.
I don't believe the turn signals are getting any power at all.
the orange/white & Blue/white wire is on the harness. The harness has a solid light blue wire, and a solid light blue wire that has a white band across the top of it, also set up the same way with orange. I'm using the Clymer manual for the bike and at the back of it it has a wiring diagram that...
yes sir.
For the front I have the red wire (flasher positive) running to orange and blue on the harness for their sides. black/white (ground) is running to green wire on the harness and then the black wire(running light positive) is running to orange/white and blue/white on the harness for...
thank you for the help. I got outside to work on the bike today, low beam is up and running, the starter is kicking over, all the lights for indicators are now working. I'm still not getting any turn signals.
could that be an issue with the dual vs single filament in the back?
anyone know a shop on the North shore of Boston I can take it too? I'm having no luck with it, so I might just need to take it in for someone else to get it up and running for me.
Ok, so I've done a bunch of research and have come across several articles that have helped me out, but I'm still not 100%, not that close either. Here’s the back story real fast. Picked up a CB750k4 with some wiring issues. Left hand controls (LHC) didn't work and the tach lights were dead. So...
