Sounds good vuuduu21. I will try to make it to the show. Looking forward to warmer weather and less gravel on the roads. I enjoy the roads near me along the river or the roads near you leading into Berks county.
Hey vuuduu2. I live near Riegelsville and my in laws are in Shimerville so you are not far from me. I ride a '78 Bonneville. Would be great to have someone with brit iron to ride with. I moved recently from Northern Liberties and have not found anyone with similar bikes to ride with just my...
I live In Durham, near Kintnersville. I like riding the river roads to Van Sant Airport where they have cool vintage planes and bikes hang out. Lots of great roads off of of 412 and 611.
Sorry I did not make it. I chickened out due to Weather channel's predictions. I made up for it by riding 125 miles to Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown on the 4th. Will def try again next month barring any other obligations. Nice pic of the Bultaco btw. I have seen that one there before.
Well 1st Sunday is soon approaching. Anyone gonna be there? I will be riding my maroon/reddish KZ550 with a Union Jack sticker on the rear fender. Triumph's clutch is acting up and the good ole KZ is up for the highway and back roads use. Any good swimming holes nearby?
For sure everyone should meet up next 1st Sunday in July. It would be great for the Philly people to meet up with the central people. Maybe some riding and lunch at Stouts?
Hope to go too next month. I think I saw your bike last time BigAl and your friends yellow Harley? I had the brown Bonney and my buddy had the lime green Guzzi.
I can relate to Norton guy because so many young guys act like Hondas were cafes before Brits. Here is a great example:
The Legend of the Cafe Racer
I have 2 Brits and 2 Jap bikes and when the Brits are going good the Japs collect dust. But I ride the 4 cyl Jap when I need to ride to work!
I was there at Ephrata. Got there 11:30ish. Saw a blue Yamaha 500 cafe type bike there and was wondering if it was owned by a DTT person. I had the brown Triumph Bonneville. Boswell, we ride around Philly all the time and my friends and I go the Green Rock after Ginos Cycles closes on Saturdays...

Bike is a 81 kawi kz550
Hi Ben, I have a '81 KZ550 too with a '82 Gpz550 parts bike. I reside in Philly. Good to see another Kawi on the forum.
I tend to disagree. There was a nice mix of English and Japanese parts there. I saw some CB parts but CBs are not the only bike to own or cafe out. One must go to swap meets big and small to find to things and sometime you strike out, sometimes hit it big! Maybe Mid Ohio or the VJMC meet at...
