get the 550....... i've had em both plus a 750 with 550 triple tree and swing arm....... see my avatar..... 550 handles much better, a little morre compact also............ fwiw....db

did 140 + - back in the 70's on the bike in my avatar. including at the old riverside raceway in socal. it's a 73 cb750 w/811 kit plus other mods including loosing 100 lbs. redeye....db
