Your right, it does. I have never noticed that before. The smaller is a cl450 tank, I wonder if the dimensions and mounts are the same as your cb500. More research to do...

That is so true. Once I get the frame all welded up I will re-take the photos with both on and re-post.

Which tank do you all prefer? One is the stock CB450 tank (1974). The other is from a CB350 year currently unknown, but matches up well.
