    "new" Yamaha xs750 project

Hey Koco, here in Cali after 7 years it drops off the reg and you register it like new. If yours is old enough it should only be about $100. If the DMV worker tries to screw ya, get back in line and go to a different window. Or have AAA do it for ya. Easy peasy Japanesey...

    New Guy from Michigan

Welcome from one FNG to another. Don't limit yerself when looking at projects. New bikes are learning projects. Tell everyone you know and strangers you meet about your quest. Stop at every garage and yard sale and ask. Eventually people will call YOU and sell or give you their old pieces of...

My new XS750... 3-1 Yosh header and slip-on.

Re: My new XS750... Seat finished! That HAZ art is amazing. I haven't ever seen that before and think it would look incredibly cool on a rough-style chop. Thinking outside the box, dude! You've done a great job with the transformation of a UJM into a cool little racer.

Can't really enjoy the riding position on most bikes with rearsets. I feel pretzelated after a long ride. Now get to wrenchin'!

Grab a Beer and Come Out to the Garage With Me...

Yeah, I got a couple of bikes. If I only had one running POS, I would be a happy man with bugs in my teeth. But somehow Lady Luck gave me a sly little grin and now I own several pieces of shit! Nothin' fancy but I love 'em all. I've been riding my old XS11 for over two decades, other bikes...

Yo Koco, that is a pattern seat I made with a piece of plywood, foam and part of an old jacket just to see how it looked. I'm making a proper steel seatpan that I'll cover with diamond quilted leather. Still gotta weld on some brackets for the seat and tail piece. She was a great runner as a...
