affirmative on clogged overflow tubes. thanks chicken. i do run an in line fuel filter, im gonna shop around for something with a finer medium. somethings obviously getting past it.

There is also a small amount of fuel coming out of air filter number one when cil. 1 is flooded.

nailed it. where my fuel line plugs into the carb rack the hose clamp had slipped off a little and it was leaking. i never noticed because i always shut the petcock off whenever i stop. thanks gents.

correct, not cv's. i went from 75 to 80 on the mains, 35 to 40 on the secondarys. i have the carbs on the bench right now. o rings are good, floats are good, everything looks spot on. im wondering if my cam chain could be a link off after the rebuild... please no.
