Another major hurdle handled. Decided to go with an Ebay find for my tailsection. Company called Carbon Moto out of the U.K. had this nice little piece for $100 +$50 for shipping. While it isn't a direct bolt on, it is the exact shape I had in my head. Fits well and will be easy to make a seat...
Finally decided on my choice for exhaust. I went with the Delkevic polished stainless 4 into 1. Havent had it running yet to comment on the sound but as far as fit and finish goes, I couldn't be happier. Its very well built and for the $349 price tag...I'm all smiles. I may shorten up the link...
The time has come to decide on which exhaust to use on my 1980 Cb750. The problem is mainly that there only appears to be like 3 or so real options. Vance & Hines, Mac, Delkevic....all are very similar to one another and are around $300-400. Any opinions from the masses?
Hey Cookie,
I relocated my fuses back to my now relocated battery box under the right side cover. a company called Namz offers a 4 fuse(atc mini style) fuse holder with a weather proof cover. its pretty nice and was only $16. wire it up the same way as stock. I could take some pics of it if you...
CB MIKE I was able to get almost all the electronics under the left side cover mounted on a steel plate. Newer ATC style fuse box, battery(much smaller Ballistic) and rear brake reservoir under the right side. Monoshock is taking up all the space in the center
Thanks for your input guys. At first I was worried about the front end conversion, then the monoshock/swingarm conversion, then wiring...got thru all that and the brain shut down. Lol. Heres a few more pics of the progress.
Keep the ideas coming!!!
