So i've been running with a set of barnett springs and am tired of how stiff they are for everyday riding. I'm thinking about going back to oem springs. I've heard on barnett springs you only seat the retaining nut and dont actually torque it down to stock speck wich i think is around 7foot...
I have a 1977 cb750f. When in neutral how freely should the wheel spin? At the moment with a decent push down with my foot it will only go about a half rev. New bearings in the rear. Installed new clutch and high performance springs which may create more pressure somehow not sure. also...

Is it normal for the cb750's to be a bit on the difficult side to push? I've never found it super easy to move around, and it doesn't feel like anything is binding or pinching. I replaced the rear wheel bearings but not the front.

I know these aren't made anymore but can another year be substituted? I could mold and cast some if anyone knows of a heat and ethanol resistant rubber.
So, since there are no cb750f 77 carb insulators out there and those parts are rare and expensive for most other cb750's, is there a DIY version from large diameter tubing/hose that would work? I have been digging and digging on the intarnet for hours and nothing. Any constructive input would...
