I did it on my CB750 because it was the easiest way after I did the rear sets. But I don't see any real advantage to it.

Re: CB550 alloy sprint lookin good. I just picked up 3 cb550 awhile back, just tore down the first one to do a mild cafe build. I need to get some pics of it and start a build thread. Keep the inspiration coming.
