Can someone explain relays to me? I'm new at electrical, with the exception of a physics class I took in college. I'm rewording y bike and need to know where I should use relays, how to buy them and how to wire them

I guess I should have mentioned this, but yes, it is a '75 XS650. I just noticed that second wire from the right turn signal looks like it goes back to the switch but it doesn't. It goes to the rear. Where would the yellow wire go if I were to use it? As it sits now, I believe it is capped...

Okay, thanks. I moved it and added another one to each of the power lines between the Left / Right switch. My other question is about the Br wire coming from the reg/ rec. Should that tap into the brown wire leaving the ignition switch? I copied that bit from another schematic and was unsure...

A lot of guys make a seat mold out of foam blocks glued together and then tape and fiberglass it. The rest really depends on your capability. You can buy most anything, but I'm more of the mind that doing it yourself it more satisfying, unique, etc.

Anyone ever use pistons from the ebay seller cruzin image? They come with rings, clips and pins. I've heard nothing bad with any of it except the clips. However, I have not heard much overall. Anyone have any experience? By the way, they are for an XS650...

You could run Avgas (100LL) in it. No ethanol.
