So I have a bone stock 72 350f with a 400f header and shot reverse cone emgo just cleaned everything up and got it running starts and runs great other than a little midrange stumble from 4-5k. Carbs have stock jetting currently but this is midrange problem so I'm thing of moving the needels...
tore into my 72 450 today to inspect the cams...
they have some very light wear no real scoreing but all the timing chain and sprockets look good
so i went ahead and pulled the head off because one side had 180 psi compression (cyl full of oil)
the other i was not able to read.

so i have seen a few kz twins with single carb set ups it there a reason the single carb works better on the kz400/440s?
had anyone made it work on the Honda or Yamaha twins?
i know the frame would be on the way on some bike like cb350s but you could work around that
it was a craigslist find its had a ruff life but clean title im stoked
what do i need to know abouth the 450s i here there is a issue with the cam bearing wear?
i would posr pics but it aint much to look at unless you like tall bars and a bitchin sissy-bar
