Stuck a PE30 carb from nibbi on. It seems to be the go to for these engines. New intake lets the carb sit level and leaves room for a filter.

Triple clamps for grom forks are almost ready for finish work.
This is a fun build to walk in to. Gives me inspiration to get one myself. LOL

Lol, thanks. It should be fun. I'm planning on a 3 inch extension on the swingarm, it'll help make it a little more stable, the rear wheel will look better placed, and it'll help keep the front down. With roughly 4x the power it'll probably benefit from it.

Doing some lathe work. Made front wheel spacers, and just about finished with the steering stem.

That should help. We're pulling all the groms from our MSF fleets here because they are so unstable that accidents keep happening in exercises like cornering and emergency braking, a few inches of wheel base would make them way better.

I wanted a grom until I rode one. A buddy 125 scooter will absolutely smoke a grom to 45mph. Plus I would need taller bars or I feel like the bars will hit my knees.
I got the triple clamps pretty much finished, and I now have a template to get all the measurements to fit the bybre caliper on the front.
