Id use the ford light as well. Once you take it out of that housing you might gain some space. You could also make some leds for the lights and mount it to the lens and save a bunch of weight and it would draw less power.

If you look at the exploded diagram for the swing arm, it shows a internal bushing, then a concaved shaped washer, and then a flat washer. hope that helps. If you go to http://www.hdlparts.com/fiche_select.asp you can look up your bike and look at the diagram.

i don't know about teflon, but would it chip off like the rubber ones? Once it does would it damage the engine parts when it breaks loose? I just know that mine was eaten alive and there was rubber everywhere. Great work by the way.

take the gas tank off! and cutting wheels would be good and save some time. I didn't use anything but a grinder, and it worked okay. There are some tight spots that a cut off wheel would be great for. good luck and take your time.
