I agree 100%, my clientel is made up mostly of those people and there's absolutely no accountability and so many bleeding hearts there to bend the rules anyway.

I have 32mm dellorto's on mine, I just had to adjust the idle down about500rpm after adding the ignition system....

As far as the installation process, just follow #165 on 650motorcycles.com. The only place I got stuck was that final connection for power and it turned out to be as simple as plugging in the red wire from the box to the new coil, cutting it in the middle and connecting it to the hot wire...

If you look at mine, it's pointing uphill alittle and drives me friggin nuts.....I have been wondering the same thing...I'm low budget and if I could afford to have the tank re-worked I probably would've gone with a different tank anyway!! I thought of shimming the tail end up a little but...

Well, I've followed the instructions that came with it as well as #165 on 650motorcycles.com but I'm stuck. Everything is wired except for the power. I have four connections from the old coils. Instructions say to plug the red wire off the box to the positive on the new coil, then cut that wire...

In Connecticut she has to be 18 and....oh wrong subject, Ct has the "if it came with it, it should still have it" rule of thumb.....what blows is if you get caught, they give you a temporary plate and make you go through inspection, under a microscope basically, before you get a real plate back...

speed holes should be used sparingly....like on that bad ass bike above that I can't wait to see done.......don't just start drillin holes in anything that has room to drill holes on!!!

unfortunately, that didn't work in my case...I'm still running a foam prefilter inside the pods.....
