I was about to pickup a gs500 before I got my cbr600! The one thing that turned me off about it was that it's air cooled. I opted for a liquid cooled bike. I think it'll look great once you start going with your plans. Can't wait!

Now that thing is looking great! I'm sure you probably won't do this anytime soon, but I'd chop up that subrame and make a new one or at least mod the stock one. It looks a little bulky back there. Other than that, you're moving in a good direction!

The bike looks great man! I agree with those who said you should tuck the light in, and lower it to the bottom triple. It would flow a lot better. Definitely get an acewell too for your gauges.
