do you need a complete set of bolts and mounts? I might have a set of the top 3-piece mounts, and MAYBE a spare front mount and bolts. I will have to dig through my stuff.
the retainer threads should go deeper than the 13mm bearing height on the right side of the hub. If it still leaves a gap to the top of the bearing, just make a little spacer the same ID of the retainer and OD of the bearing so it takes up the gap. There's no "cup" behind the bearing on the...
Have you guys ever installed bearings on a comstar wheel....where as you're pounding one bearing into place the other one starts pounding out if you don't put the retainer in? That's what I'm saying is the concern....the wheel is essentially free to move across the outer race of the bearings...
dang, opposite coast. probably wouldn't be cost effective for me to do it for you with the shipping it would require to send me the parts and send them back to you finished.
if you SPLIT the motor and James wants the top end I'd be interested in the complete bottom end.
half a motor wouldn't be nearly as bad to ship and hell it might fit in a Large flat-rate with studs removed lol.
you can soak them in Metal Rescue. that's about as good as they'd be able to get after a 24-36hr soak in that stuff......afterwards you can TRY to steel wool and polish them but you'll definitely need to seal them with some type of product or clear coat.
front wheel would be similar work yes. According to Partzilla, the rear wheel bearings for the '82 KZ750 are SKF6303 which are 17mm axle......your CB750 uses a 20mm axle.....
The part could be remedied with different wheel bearings, a quick search says 1204 or 2204 bearings are the right SIZE...
CrazyPJ makes good points, and Tune-A-Fish's fz swingarm looks right at home......
if it were me, I'd hunt down the swingarm and rear wheel Tune pictured with a 140 rear tire on that (might need offset sprockets) and swap front tire to a 110.
Photobucket really pulled a fast one.....and they won't let me download my albums (over 12yrs worth, 4000 images) to go back and fix every post I've ever made. pretty irritating.

by rotor adapters ended up being 26mm from hub to rotor surface, with an 8mm shoulder to center the rotor on. counterbored hardware to wheel, clocked rotors for aesthetics and drilled/tapped mounting holes to m8x1.25 and used stock GSXR rotor bolts.

There's about 3/32" clearance from the wheel to the calipers here....these are the early comstars, I'm guessing you have the later ones where they flipped the spokes and they're black with the edges curved outward instead of inward? that's where the clearance issue differs.
Depending on the...
