    '72 Norton restoration

Without regular maintenance on them they won't stay that way for long. I have polished some 46 year old parts back to acceptable and within weeks of sitting in the shop they deteriorate rapidly. Yours did clean up nicely so maybe you'll get lucky. I knew my Triumph wheels were so far gone I...

    1970 Triumph Tiger 650

I'd be interested in seeing your color. I liked that this color has a metallic red in it that pops in the sunlight. Mine was done in rattle can. It's pretty good, but I will have it professionally painted once it is running and all sorted.

I used a gray primer. The color is late model Chrysler Jeep Rescue Green.

    3DogNate's 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R Resoration

Ya, probably not necessary, it lasted 47 years without wiring it up. Looking good.

    1970 Triumph Tiger 650

Found a tidy spot behind the side cover for the rear brake reservoir. Need to move it up an inch to clear the chain guard. Sprocket doesn't look so massive with the chain guard on. Might hit the tank with some paint tomorrow.

    1970 Triumph Tiger 650

Had all the parts laying around needed to fab up the front upper brake line. I may slide a piece of shrink wrap over it to keep it from chaffing the headlight bracket.

    1970 Triumph Tiger 650

Got the Black motor back in the frame and will proceed with the reassembly. Found out you can install a complete motor in the frame with rocker boxes on, but you have to remove 2 of the center head bolts. I had to drill out the Hinkley clutch perch and narrow the barrel on the cable to accept...

    3DogNate's 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R Resoration

We're neck and neck, I dropped my motor back in the frame last night. It'd be cool to see our bikes side by side when done. Yup, lots of tiny steps.

oops, sorry, I misunderstood. I'd pull them off for $2300.

"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Why would you offer him $2300 when you knew he would take $2200?

"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Mine are all being used. If had some to sell, no, I wouldn't be foolish enough to ask that kind of money if I actually wanted to sell them. The last one I sold went for I think $500, that was completely set up for a CB750 front with rotor/axle/speedo drive. I've never seen a bare wheel go for...

Just finished the Kimtab swap on the 70 Triumph. Think these are going to work nicely. Waiting on custom bride steel brake lines.

Finish the raw steel how you like and then clear powder coat it.

Would you trust your bike on this?

Other than the 550lbs being an awful lot of tongue weight, price would be a considering factor.

This guy is dreaming. The lowest he would take is $2200 shipped. He's going to own these for a very long time. http://www.ebay.com/itm/302081579183?euid=582f965f953c4263ad6c536066aea295&bu=43029436361&cp=1&sojTags=bu=bu

Bulk packs of wet sanding paper?

The bulk paper you would get from Harbor Freight is the same quality as the rest of the crap they sell. Look for professional auto body supply places in your area. Good paper will cost more but last longer.
