Decided to have the rear wheel professionally balanced, and while it was out to fit bronze swingarm bushes i bought a while ago hit never fitted there was no play in the old bushes but they were ‘reluctant’ to come out ! new ones installed easily and a test ride indicates Scruffy is running...

If the piston in the mc is too big in relation to the caliper then the brake lever will be too hard not too soft. on these old honda single piston calipers it is vital that the pads are correctly aligned with the disk, yours are not in pic 3 above is the pad touching the disk at the bottom and...

no, i didnt need to skim the 360 hub iirc it only just went in with the speedo drive, and ended up 1mm offset but handled ok

Here’s a shot that might help, shows that i had to offset the wheel/caliper mounts

Inkept the 360 wheel, needed some spacers to centralise but worked ok

indeed they are thick! when i fitted a flat Renthall bar to my 390 i wanted to drill for hidden wiring, was a bitch to get the honda wiring through !

Well that turned out well ! The disks took ages to drill, i thoughtnit would be an easy job with the proper tools but the engineers took a few hours to do a beautiful job. couldnt resist reassembling as soon as i got them home :)
