Seat looks good.... If You wanna hide the "bump" .. Find Yourself some thin foam and wrap the entire seat with it 1st....before You cover it with leather, etc..... it hides the imperfections alot better.
I just did the carbs on a bike I just aquired... no problemo with corrosion. just make sure You rinse/Scrub the carbs in soapy water after the Pine-Sol and rinse again with clean water... then blow them out with air... Mine came out spotless and work fantastic.
I found a thread on another forum that used Pine-Sol as a carb cleaner.... Soo.. I gave it a shot, WOW... They came out fantastic.. Here's the link to the thread.... Best part is, it's safe on all the rubber parts!!

It doesn't cost fuck all to build a bike if You can do the work Yourself... I built this bike for $750ish... including the $50 rattle can paint job... As most will attest with some skill or some skilled friends You can build anything
Well the stuff You've done makes it more of a "custom".... like when a Harley Pirate adds chrome to His armchair... a "Fighter" is stripped of fairings, plastic, bags... etc... You know
Can I ask a quick question without offending You??... Why is this in the "Streetfighter" section?? It's clearly not a fighter more of a sport-tourer ....
I had one for a little while... Smooth running bike, but ran HOT, Hell the exhaust pipes were double walled to keep from getting too hot on the outside....
I was at the Crescent Beach Invitational (Concous d'Elegance) in White Rock B.C and they had some great vintage bikes that most here would love to have.... I figured I'd share the pics (crappy cell pics)
Hope You enjoy
