    1981 Yamaha SR250 Cafe Racer

That is sweet, I may have to rethink selling the spare 250 I've got. One of my favourite bikes on this site.

    FS: 1983 sr250 with title

Located in Guelph, Ontario Red SR250 in running condition, could use a little polishing up. Needs fork seals replaced and foot peg rubber and that's pretty much it for safety. Clutch needs adjustment. Engages early. Everything else works great. $1000 obo. Would like to get rid of it before...

Yamaha SR250 Restoration - Built by a schoolboy

Re: Yamaha SR250 Restoration - 'What does this bit do?'... as for the engine, same engine on the tt250 and xt250 for the same years. if it needs piston rings, don't bother trying to find one for the sr250, it shares the same part number as the xs650. tends to be cheaper. and Yea that thing is...

    Do you wear gloves?

I wear these, needed for my test and they were on sale. I find them pretty comfortable. wouldn't ride without gloves and can't figure those that do. Road biking and falling at 35km/h does enough damage

That's a great Idea, and I'm in. I've got the design skills and software (solidworks), as well as a machinist friend who has access to a cnc machine. He can buy machine time at his work who is looking to do somethings on the side. I'll get in touch with him and see what his interest level is. I...

The future of motorcycles is here!?

Seeing as it's going to be labeled under small craft, no license required. Just imagine all those idiots on the road now flying. Looks cool as hell though and IMO a nice piece of industrial design.

    Yamaha SR250

Hey Jonny. The engine isn't apart so any of the internals I'm not accessing, but the external stuff is all yours. Where about are you in the muskokas? I'll be up in Awenda provincial park for the weekend of July 8 if you wanted to buy the whole motor. It was running when I took it out, but I...

    Ground Resistance

Re: Ground Resistance: Frame=Done. good to see it starting to come together. I'm with you on the finishing part and how much detailing it's going to take. It seems like the amount of bolts and nuts to put back on have grown exponentially from the time I've taken them off. I think the formula...
