Thanks very much Rick, I'll look for one of them with a filament sensor, much appreciated.

    Honda RS1000 - CB400F Mini Replica

Hey Rick, what make of 3d printer did you buy, I'm looking at getting one myself. Nice work on the bike too, very impressive.

    CB 450 twin. I said I needed a project

That motor looks great. Did he fix the valve guide, and how did the pricing work out?

That FT is nice, someone got a good score with that I would think.

    Canada is weird!

Haha, very true. We still laugh at the Kiwis across the pond.

    Canada is weird!

Hang on a minute, bit too much Australiana in here, thought this was supposed to "Canada is weird"... haha. And Teazer, "eats roots and leaves" - you should be more defensive, you spent enough time here ;D ;D

Am I the Pontius Pilate of this CX500?

Haha, feel like a trip? I use Illawarra Fasteners for all my S/S bolts, I'm sure you'd have something similar up there.

    Brodie's '72 Honda XL250 Motosport!

The first model CR's had a mudflap, it's likely from one of them, they both came out around the same time.

Am I the Pontius Pilate of this CX500?

Nice job, very neat. A button head 4mm screw should solve your problem.

    Brodie's '72 Honda XL250 Motosport!

Nice bike Brodie, those old motosports were the duck's guts in their day, and that one looks very original aside from the pipe and front mudflap. I'll certainly be watching this one with interest.

    CB450 Tracker

The carb tops are one piece pj, but I bought some 45 degree cable adaptors from Mikunioz that were only AUD8.80 each. I did consider making some but these ones have the nylon sleeve inside so all good there.

    Texas Two Step Taco

Yes, you're right, nothing like turning a small underpowered engine into a rocket ship, puts a big smile on your face... I have been putting Yamaha conrods into Maicos for years now. They are cheap and bulletproof and are identical except for being 2mm wider across the bigend journal, so I made...

    Texas Two Step Taco

I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the pipe, they called Bultaco horsepower "Spanish ponies" back in the day. I don't think a Bandido ever made 42hp, more likely low to mid 30's. The Yamaha SC500 made around 43 from memory, and it was a lot more trick than a 360 Bully. Still a great machine to...

    Is this Toast?

If you need any, the bearing locating pins are really cheap from.Partzilla, just a couple of.bucks each.

    CB450 Tracker

I hung the cylinder head in the frame to see how everything would line up and it appears that I'll need some offset adaptors for the throttle cables to tuck them inside the tank, no big deal. I also made up the brackets to mounts the back of the battery box to the inner rear guard, a plate for...

    Texas Two Step Taco

Sure do find it interesting, but it doesn't seem like the cross sectional area of the two reed petals would be large enough, but I've been wrong before. There would have to be two matching windows in the piston for it to work correctly.

    Texas Two Step Taco

Oh yeah, I knew it wasn't yours as it's a Pursang, not a Montadero. Forgot to put oil in his fuel, tragic mistake.

    Texas Two Step Taco

I wouldn't have thought there was enough csa with the reed mounted that way, perhaps that's why it has had such a huge seize. Is that a crack in the liner as well?
