hello there just thinking about upholstery options for my cb350 project and was thinking about alcantara for it anyone have any experience with it? how does it hold up? does it give nice grip ?
bit of an update not had much time up until recently but the past few weeks i got the frame painted gun metal grey fitted the engine in .took a seat out of the seat mould i made polished my front hub and built the front wheel and polished the fork lower tubes fitted new seals and new fork legs
i welded some cross bars for the seat and to hold the battery in today and i am going to weld all the seams may as well il probably only wish i had done it once its all complete otherwise. is your build on here hooligan so i can take a look?
i was thinking about boxing the seat rails in as they only have part of them making a full square if you get me ? i have a welder to hand so wouldnt be any trouble for me to weld them and need to weld some supports in for the seat to sit on anyways so think i might do it. did you weld up every...
Hi hooligan what route are you off down with yours? Yes the rear seams I am planning on welding up as I have trimmed them for the seat to fit better but I am unsure if I will do the ones under the tank I’m still undecided what’s your take on it ? I don’t know wether to brace the seat stays...
hello with a long sit down with the original wiring diagram (bound to find one somewhere on the internet) and a pen and paper you should be able to make a wiring loom up. i aint to familiar with viragoes but i assume they run of cdi so the loom wont be as simple as some of the points ignition...
just had some new shiny bits i also have alluminium rims and some spokes on the way and some new for tubes so i can rebuild them and polish the lowers i also need to weld some seat mounts in and alter the tank mounts a bit before i can fully strip it down to paint the frame
made a little bit of progress on a few days i had off for the summer not sure if the seat is a little high and the tank needs a bit ad adjustment to get it sitting straight and inline with the seat
