    Re: 1978 cb550k rebuild You will want to take both jets (main and secondary)up buy 10 as you already got the idea. that's a good starting point and if needed go up or down buy 1/2 jets 105.5 for example. New plugs are a must to tune it right. I did a 76 cb550 with pods and 4 into 1 kirker...

    1978 cb400t valve cover gasket issue

    Yes new rubber seals on the valve cover bolts will help. I would also use a gasket sealer on the valve cover side and just use a line coat so that any sealer that pushes inward wont work it way into the bottom of the engine and into the oil pump.
