    Ok that was a simple procedure. Dropped the front wheel, loosened the forks. Slide off. Easy. Only troublesome part was lifting the bike up. All sorted. One step at a time. Ubergeez

    Thought I would ask the opinion of the fine forum members. Concerning my clip ons. Should I . A) remove the top triple to put them on. Or B) just loosen up the triples and slide the forks off? What do you think? A or B Ubergeez

    Finally ordered what seems to be the correct carb kit.... Time will tell. Finally got in both front/back brakes in so I can now put my rear swing arm back on and rear tire. That is a good thing. Havent lined up a fabricator yet. But its a winter project.. and its only October. No worries...

    Ok boyz, im having bad luck when it comes to my carbs. The rebuild kits I bought are for an xv750 81-83 But they dont fit. The gasket is wrong and there are some differences with the needles. Soooooo.......???? Not really fantastically happy with how much time they are off the bike, as I want...

    Well, the carb kits, are wrong ;( Sad.... Apparently I have a different carb than the usual rebuild kit. Well, learning...... this is what I expected from what people are talking about 1st gen, 2nd gen carbs. Not sure if it would be best to get a different carb set. Not really what I want to...
