Cool hack. What bike is that? Hard to tell from the font. My old lady wants me to get a hack too haha.
I'm actually considering selling my V7. Considering. I've been jonzing for a Duc Sport Classic lately.
If you like engines "hanging out" don't forget about Guzzi. The best looking (and possibly sounding) engines ever made IMO, though, by today's standards, they are big lumps. Still look great though.
Those are comparable to down here in Dallas/Ft Worth. The seat on the 2nd one is hideous. I'd go with the first because it's more of a blank slate to work with. I'd ditch the striping, but that's me.
Re: What I dont' about Mike Seate.....
Interesting to read that stuff. If it's true, that's just too bad and he is a wanker. My post on Seate was an observation I made from meeting him one time, briefly. I can not vouch for his true personality.

On the topic, I like the idea.
I figured. Didn't know if you were hard up and if I could help out a little. Sorry I don't have anything else.
Thanks for the epoxy idea. That never crossed my mind.
I have something I need painted, however, I don't know if it's worth your trouble as it's a relatively small piece. You'd probably spend more time setting up. I may just rattle can it and if that doesn't hold up, have it powdered.
Top handlebar clamp, seen here. I need it black to match my new...
