I noticed last night that the slipper of my cam chain tensioner is cracking near the ends on the non-wearing portion. Anyone have any experience with this? Is this something that will cause a problem or do they all look like this? Also the sleeve around the spring has a few pieces braking...

I picked up this 1976 CB550 a few weeks ago. The guy had started a few things on it and lost interest in the project. It needs a lot of work but that's what I was looking for.
