    Honda CB250 (1976) jetting.

Hey guys, found a problem. Can't seem to find primary main jet and slow jet for Keihin 744b nowhere. The internet is full of secondary main jets in any specs you want, but somehow these two are nowhere to be found... Are they not as important? Or is there a way to compensate for they default...

    Honda CB250 (1976) jetting.

Thanks for the answer! I noticed that Dime City Cycles ship worldwide and have some main jets from 360 which should fit. So I'll try to play with these. Just a question - does push in and threaded jets are interchangeable? (this may sound as a very silly question:/) Cause my main jets are...

    Vintage Russian headlamps.

Damn, don't think swapping carbs will solve the problem :/ The original carbs I have are actually clean and works fine, cause I can get the bike started very easy. It's just the riding part that is a problem:] It just does not accelerate couse the mix is just too lean. Appreciate the offer very...

    Vintage Russian headlamps.

Just came up with a few more of these Russian headlights if anyone is interested in trading. What to trade to? I have a problem with my carb jets and can't get it solved in my country. Problem is here. If anyone could provide correct carb jets kit, one of these is yours. ' The Big one...

    Honda CB250 (1976) jetting.

Hello guys, again asking for help. In a very childish and inexperienced decision I have given my bike pod filters and straight exhaust. As this is the only CB250 in my country, nobody told me that that's not very smart for your first project. And now I need to rejet the carbs, because frame...

Engine starts, runs, but has no power.

Thank you for such an extensive answer. Damn, I see, I still have a lot of work to do. Yes, the engine is a stock one. With non stock pod's and straight pipes. Carbs are unmodified. Here comes the first question - is there a kit with proper jets and compensator jets, that I could install myself...

1976 Honda CB250G - Project far far away in Lithuania...

Getting to the finish line. Got the seat and some other details done, changed the tires (previous still had USSR badge on them:]) and it's starting to look like a bike. Still having some issues with the engine, but I hope it's nothing serious...

Engine starts, runs, but has no power.

So, the video. I wasn't able to capture the sound correctly, but at the end of the video, the sound difference between the pipes should be audible. In reality the right one has quite deeper sound then the left one. And overall it's very freakin loud. It's not clear in the video, but let's just...

Engine starts, runs, but has no power.

Thank you! The right cylinder had no spark. Got that sorted out and it sprang to life! But the left cylinder still sound strange. While left muffler gives a much deeper noise and some smoke, the left one has no smoke and the sound is like in the video - "klack, klack, klack... like. Spark...

Engine starts, runs, but has no power.

Hey guys, I ran in to some problems with my engine and would be thankful for some help. I recently got my engine running after rebuilding top end of it. It starts easily both with starter and kick. But sound is somehow strange, a little "klackingy". You can hear it in the video below from 2:10...

1976 Honda CB250G - Project far far away in Lithuania...

Still some work to do, but decided to assemble as much as possible to see complete view. One thing clear - color is not right. I already tried red, blue and whit, none of them seem right. But this white gave me an idea for a theme, so it should look much better later.

1976 Honda CB250G - Project far far away in Lithuania...

Re: 1976 Honda CB250G - Slow first time build. After crazypj suggestions got the head removed and refurbished and re-installed everything again. This time, with more care and deeper understanding the principle. Valves, timing and points set and we're ready to go. And it's alive...

Master Cylinder leak/ modern master cylinder? (CB250G5)

Re: Modern master cylinder? (CB250G5) (new brake lines question) So brake hoses really need changing. Thank you for making me aware of that. I was just wondering, must I use a metal hose to connect with caliper, or can I go with a single flexible one from master cylinder to the caliper...

Master Cylinder leak/ modern master cylinder? (CB250G5)

Hey there, having some troubles with bleeding front brakes on my Honda CB 250 G5. After hours of bleeding with traditional method, bought a vacuum system. The result is the same - fluid is slowly getting out from reservoir, but from the nipple, it keeps getting out mixed with air. After about...
