So I have a cb500t I live at 5000ft altitude and my bike won't run without my choke open all the way. I had 125 main jets in it and I put 120's because I thought it was getting to much fuel but I'm having the same exact issue. As soon as I close the choke the bike dies..... any help would be...

Got a 73 CB500t. Cleaned and tuned the carbs. It runs really well but it doesn't have a ton of pickup and it won't go over 50mph.... Any ideas ? Iv tried everything and I'm out of ideas. Sent from my iPhone using DO THE TON

So I bought a 73 cb450 and didn't realize that it has a 500t engine in it but its still running 450 carbs... Does anyone know if these carbs will work for this engine or do I need to buy the 500t carbs... Also I know that the 500 carbs have the same size slow jets in them but have 145 main jets...
