I have never seen tanks as crappy as Zephyr tanks. There was nothing to salvage really. I’m not even sure the tunnel is good.

Last summer’s blunder! Rear sets in the way of kickstand and kickstart. So, back to the stockers. Glad I didn’t throw them away. I tack welded a gusset on one bracket because I thought it might look cool. It didn’t, so I smacked it off with a hammer. [emoji1]
I replaced the cracked o rings on the t fittings and now they won’t fit into the carb bodies. The ones I removed had a flat outer edge which I assumed got that way after 30 years. My question is, are there special o rings for these fittings???

Also working on mounting tach. I found this bracket in my parts bin that will work. Welded the back cover of the tach to the bracket. I think the angle is good. Not sure how much of the “ears” to lop off. I plan to mount a mini speedo to the left of the tach.
