Hey guys, has anyone converted their ace into a dirt tracker or know of someone who has? Id be keen to give this a go, just looking for info/inspiration....

Yep! Mine leaks fairly badly. Did you replace the gasket? Did it fix the problem?

Hey Muncy, I am considering swapping my engine out for a 250 along with some of the other crap parts.. What other engines did you consider?

I am one happy lady, I can say that much. Except the ace has an oil leak. There's always something! Will PM you about it Crazy :-)

I agree. I often wonder if my bike will fall apart under me just doing 60!

Ace 125... looking to do a reasonably straightforward swap if possible. Also want to upgrade the tyres to michelins... stock tyres are soooo bad

Has anyone swapped out the factory rims for something else? I am considering swapping them for something nicer but wanted to know what you guys have done first? Also, getting a rear wheel with a disc is up there on my list of priorities! Cheers, VM

Have replaced with high octane fuel from Shell, no leaks this morning! Hurrah!

You would think so. Not having a good week, had house broken into and dirt bike stolen. Will try a different fuel but it appears the seals will need replacing anyway?

Ok so fuel is now just freely dripping out the bottom of the carb. I think the time has come.... Anyone interested in taking my ace off my hands?

Yes! Opal fuel... is there something you guys recommend I use instead of the opal?

So took the bike back to the mechanic, he says its the fuel in Alice. However, ive got the same fuel in my crf 230 - no leaks there. Perhaps I need new seals and a change of fuel?

It seems its leaking out Of the actual fuel tap and not the hose. And with the carb it seems its the hose on the very bottom and via the seal that connects the carb bottom bowl to the main carb
