Alright, just did my best to measure the base gasket thickness and calculate a compression ratio. I came up with a 7.6:1 compression ratio. Sounds to me like 14psi is just what this engine needs!

Throttle response is not bad at all. Theres a bit of hesitation just above idle, but after that its a screamer. And no carbon seals, just the regular piston ring type.

Are you just worried about nailing it while walking around the bike or mounting/dismounting? Sharp edges were smoothed up before it was painted. This pic was a just test fit. A simple license plate frame has also been ordered.
