When I bought it, there was this hideous pink/white color scheme on it... for some reason Yamaha decided that was the factory paint. I got rid of that pretty quickly and settled on the blue/white. Now I just need more money and I'll tackle my first cafe. Thanks for the welcome! Wade

Thanks for the welcome... I've fallen in love with this bike and decided to keep it stock. I'm hoping to find an old Honda 350 or 500 to build a cafe out of either this winter or next year. I've still got to tear into the engine of this Yamaha and rebuild it this winter... Looking forward...

I fell in love with vintage bikes living out West in LA... I moved back to Wisconsin and finally had the money and space to start a project. I picked up an old 72 Yamaha CS5, stripped it down to the frame and cleaned it all up. It's my first bike and I'm in love. Just wanted to say hello...
