1974 TX500 Gas Tank Non-Existent Part# 90508-07235-00 **NEED TO FIND**

I have searched everywhere and have some calls in to multiple shops trying to track down this spring. Does anyone know where I could get one of these without having to buy an entire tank with the assembly already? Or if this cap is interchangeable with any of the XS caps?

I live in the south east and am willing to drive if necessary…

my guess is all yamaha pop up caps of that era ,locking or not , use the same spring
look up DT1 or AT1
ps: unless yer talkin to an older dog parts man dont even bother with the local shop for any parts

Maybe you already did this, but Google the part number. I have had much better luck sorting through finding parts that way instead of searching different online parts houses.
