DTT BOTM winner
Up for sale in Milwaukee area. My 1983 gl1100 interstate. It was stripped to a naked. Remove the rear fender, put a taillight on it and change seat to a smaller one and you'd have a sweet cafe. It's in great condition. No dents, cracks, and damage.
These bikes are very sophisticated for their time. Front and rear air adjustable suspension, fuel gauge, self canceling signals, engine temp activated radiator fan, front and rear linked brakes.
I have done the following to it within past month:
New dunlop tires- front and rear with 40 miles on them
New plugs
New signals
New timing belts
Oil and filter change
Radiator flush and change
New thermostat
New battery
New euro bars
New grips
New push and pull throttle cables
Removed front fender - doesn't need one because it what's fork brace but it comes with OEM fender too.
New seat
Gl1200 headers with brand new triumph bonneville mufflers
Brake fluid changed and flushed
This was not a barn find or a bike that was sitting in a a garage for years- this was driven often by the elderly previous owner. Everything runs, drives, stops, shifts and works perfectly. I would drive this bike anywhere.
Comes with stock front fender, stock exhaust, stock engine guards, spare seat pan, plexi windshield, OEM bars, highway pegs.
Comes with clear Wisconsin title
