Advice on Forks for a BSA scrambler/Street tracker

Finally sorted the triples on the BSA and now need to figure out what forks to use as the triples will be custom machined for whatever I use. I have decided to go for a scrambler/tracker type set up and was half toying with the idea of using a pair of forks from an old Yamaha YZ or RT (are they the same??) but Im concerned that they would be too high ( I could cut them....?) and a bit too soft for street use. If Im honest the street is where this bike will spend the majority of its time.

I had also thought of using a set from a triumph scrambler, but these seem hard to come by and was wondering if there was a set from the Japanese bikes that would compare.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated

This might help some

If you look for a bike that has a comparable weight to your own, that should help too.
