Any luck Re-using not so old gaskets

OK guys, I rebuilt my engine w fresh gaskets a couple seasons ago. This morning I popped the right side cover off to swap my old/bad oil pick up for the old/new and improved version.
I was shocked when I popped the cover off, the gasket stayed on the cover completely intact. (just one tiny spot where a bit of hondabond used to seal cases, barely removed the the face of the gasket.) pic below.

My question, since this gasket has only been employed for about 1 1/2 years and pretty mach came off clean as a whistle. Would you re-use it? It was properly torqued by myself, and it will be properly torqued again.

I have a brand new gasket sitting here. I was planning to install.

I would put a light smear of hondabond on this spot before install.

In case CB360 owners haven't heard about this, oiling issue. Here is the difference twixed the bad pick up and the updated pick up Honda introduced.

Left - updated, Right old version. If the bike idles on its side stand the old version can allow it to draw air = no oil to top end.

How much does a gasket cost? I'd replace it especially because it does have a tear.

I reuse intact gaskets all the time. You already have a new gasket, so I would use it. WTH?

When I put new gaskets on, I use Hondabond, (or equiv) on the side that faces the piece that removes. On the other side of the gasket, I use Teflon paste. The Teflon paste acts as a release agent, so the next time you pull that cover off, it pops off cleanly with no gasket sticking on the wrong side.

I only ever glue gaskets to the cover so they can be reused. A old drag racer told me he use to lay his bike in it side for a few min. Befor doing any clutch work so he wouldn't even lose any oil
