I'm thinkin the high rise would be great for mounting below the top tree.

Anyone bought these?
Good price or run of the mill?

Tarozzi is nice stuff. I'm using Tarozzi rear-sets. Italian made.

A note though - there's only 30mm (1 inch) difference between these two models.

They're 36mm as well - get the right size.

Yeah I've got 36mm forks... Made that mistake once and had to sneek into the engineering machine shop at MUN and widen out a pair of 35mm headlight ears. ;D.

I think that inch would be enough to be able to mount below the tree (more) comfortably, don't ya think?

How about the price?

Well, they're not cheap, but about the same price as Tommaselli adjustables. If you run these immediately below the top triple tree, the bars will end up in a similar position to flat bars mounted in the stock clamps I would think.

Kind of defeats the purpose of clipons? What will you do with the clamps on the triple tree if you're not using them?

Naw, not really. It would give me full adjustability... and maybe I'd be able to find a comfortable position that , say, if (and please god never let this happen again) I drop the bike, my new tank won't get beat up like this one... The clubmans did not allow for this (although I thought they had).

As far as the clamps go... I really don't know. I have seen some people (on here I believe) that have ground them off and were left with a smooth top tree... Maybe convert the dogbone I have on there now into an idiot-light holder? Save up some loot for an aluminum tree? Turn it upside down? I will have to think that one through...

I guess if the price isn't all that great then I can give it some time instead of buying bars when what I really need is a tank.

Thanks for the input.
