back brake popping

Hey guys I have a 71 CL350. I adjusted my back brake and now, every now and then when I use my back brake the peddle clicks and pops up. Has anyone had this happen? Thanks ,Seth

Can you be more percise? If you mean once released it hangs for a moment then "pops up" sounds like you likage is binding. But the "click" description sounds like it is slipping on the splines

It will stiffen up more than pop back up. And that's what I'm thinking as far skipping splines. I'll take a deeper look once I mount my new back tire. Thanks for the input. I'll post if i find anything odd.
