BSA C15 FUEL TANK

Selling a BSA fuel tank for a C15. The parts lot this came with included 1959-1961 engine and frame parts (and a supersport engine!), so I am assuming it's from that year range. Tank is very solid. interior has likely been cleaned out as it shows just a few flecks of slight surface rust -- you could run it as is without lining it. It comes with the cap, the chrome strips on the top of the tank, the bung stopper, and the fuel tap. The exterior has obviously been repainted hastily, but it has no visible dings or dents. $150 + shipping.

I've got a few more photos, PM me your email and I can send em.

Nope, British C15 had a 'flatter' tank with 'eyebrows' formed into topside around BSA badge.
B40 tank fits C15 though. I liked the export tanks, very similar to the 'scrambler' ;D
That tank in red and cream does look real good though, friend had one on his 'slightly modified officer' 120mph C15 ;)

That was another great fun bike ;D
Top pic looks like B40 with C15 tank, lower, C15 with B40 tank (cylinder is a little 'fatter' on B40)
Pretty sure some of the people buying 'restorations' don't know or care about the difference? (plus fall for the BS about what was on the shelf - that didn't happen until later C25, B44, etc)
