Grumpy retired oldtimer... "eat a Snickers bar"
Does anyone know for a fact as to whether the CB350 Twin stator cover will fit the CB450 Twin although upside down??? The reason I ask there is a guy on this site who is making and selling a finned CB350 cover and if they fit the CB450 (circumference and bolt spacing) then I would grab one.

It would make some sense if they did line up and all. The CB450 covers on ebay have gone way to high price wise and when I saw the finned one it just rekindled my thinking. ::)

when i was ordering parts for my engine i order a cl350 stator cover, but when i received it i noticed that it dint go all the way in, it turned out that it was a cb450 one from a 66 i believe the seller told me, the 350 one is a bit longer, so it should fit fine on a CB450, you would have to change the screws arrangement in the stator to run it up side, heres a pic from the 450 cover:

if your intrested i can sell you that one for $25 shipped

If you are running the stock shifter there my be a clearance problem. There isn't much clearance stock. If the 350 cover is deeper and with the fins, I don't think the shifter will work without some heat. Rear sets would be no problem.
