CB360 more swing arm questions

Hi, I've seen lots of posts on cb360 swing arm bushings but never seen a swing arm like mine....

I assume the bushings at the rear can be pushed out using the threaded rod and washer trick used by many...

But what about the bushings at the front where the arm joins the frame have you seen anything like this before, is there anything I need to remove here before powder coating or anything I should consider replacing?

Thanks
Matt

The center silver part is a steel bushing that is clamped solidly in the frame. It does NOT rotate with the swingarm. It is either a single piece or 2 outside bushings and a center spacer. It/they should easily slide out of the arm, though often they were never lubricated except from the factory and are corroded in place. It/they can be quite difficult to remove sometimes, but nothing mechanical holds them in place. The swing arm bushings are the black parts that surround the center bushing. They are pressed in to the arm, one on each side. They have a flange on the outside that is the same diameter as the swing arm and are made of a high performance plastic. You can usually drive them out from the other side with a long drift once you remove the center bushings and spacer. Often the inner bushings can be re-used but replace them if badly corroded. Replace the outside bushings with bronze after market versions. The shock mounts press out as you describe but hard to remove without damaging them. Recommend you use a press with exact and careful rigging and setup. Make sure there is NO paint or powdercoat on any surface the replacement parts contact.

Top stuff thanks, got the inner steel bushing out easy enough by pressing it out, just need a drift long enough to knock the plastic bushings out.

Any recommendations on where to get replacement bronze bushings?

Thanks
