cb360 triple tree xs650 slider?

I'm looking for any help on trying to figure out what the front end set up is on a cb360 I bought in a package deal.

The triple tree looks just like the ones on the 2 other cb360 I own. The fork tubes measure 33mm

The bottom sliders measure 48.72mm and have a different mounting tab for the caliper and different brake than my other 360s. They also measure 14" from the center of the axle to the top of the dust cover as opposed to 12 5/8" on the other 360s.

The caliper it self looks like the same caliper on mikes xs website under 77-84 xs650

Is it possible that one of the previous owners put xs650 lowers with the 360 uppers? Any other ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

thanks

Tried to post pics of the front forks but it doesn't seem to be working

xs650 forks were 34mm in the early years and then 35mm later. might be xs400 forks as those would be 33mm and use the same caliper as the xs650.

I'm trying to upload the pics again. We'll see if it works. I was able to upload them to the Honda twins site and the response back was xs400. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Thats definetly a yamaha caliper and mounting bracket.

Im guessing they used yamaha forks, caliper, caliper bracket.

Whats the otherside look like?

Is there any side to side play?

I Second the notion probably a xs400.

The other side looks or I should say looked the same. Some did a hack job cutting off the mounting tabs for the left side caliper. The disc is about 10.5" in diameter. Which I guess could be a xs400 caliper (don't have one to compare it to) or the rear disc on a xs650 I'm told is 10.5 inches.

I just ordered the xs650 Brembo adapter form pandemonium. I spoke with Daniel today and we have decided that the caliper mount will fit. It's just a matter of the size of the disc. So when it arrives I'll pull the brembo caliper off my ducati and mock it up to see if it'll work.

I'd love to upgrade the suspension but it's my first build and I don't want to get into the custom machining of parts. The forks are 33mm so they fit the trees. I think I'll settle for better brakes for now.
