Hi all, new to this game of cafe building ,but, after restoring a few old brit machines in thought i would give it a go.
First problem is it poss. to swap the front brake caliper from grabbing at the front of the fork to grabbing before the fork ??
reason for this < broken lug where the little spring goes to keep the pads off the disc. I see the forks are able to swap left to right just the caliper swaps from front to back. As for the mudgaurd fitting i am fitting a universal.

I don't know if that would be doable. The way the arm/caliper works it is best for the caliper to trail the rotation of the disc. You could swap the caliper to the other side, in which case you may need another spacer to make the caliper arm align with the disc along with some machining of the disc carrier to accept the speedo drive ears....or get a fork leg from ebay or a salvage yard. If you are rebuilding and the forks need seals anyway....I'd go with the latter. MY two cents, since nooone else replied.
