CB750 high performance pads?

Looking to upgrade the front brake pads on my 77 CB750.
I see that EBC makes a set (round ones) that are organic and claim to be good.
Anyone had experience with these or any other high grade pad?

I think i used those last year... seemed good, but i didn't ride the bike before rebuilding it. what you might want to try is having your discs resurfaces (milled), there's a guy who advertises on ebay that does it. i think you'll see a huge difference with the discs being milled

Milling the discs is a good idea but I would also like to replace the "stock" pads with something a bit more aggressive and the EBC's are the only non stocks I could find.

EBCs are nice but in my experience they wore pretty quickly (I ride hard), however Galfer is my new favorite at the moment.
Their HH compound is the most aggressive I've found short of having them made yourself...which is an option almost nobody except long haul truck drivers and industrial transport guys use.

You could take a set of used pads into any industrial friction shop (they do truck and forklift brakes) and get just about anything laid on. Like Galfer's HH...look for ceramic/sintered metal compound. Not only are they just generally more aggressive but if you ride in the rain they maintain grip and are easily modulated ie; not grabby.

I checked the Galfer online catalog and don't see a listing for CB750.
The type I need are the round ones.
Do you know a part number by any chance?
The idea of custom is interesting as well.

I don't have a number you may have to call them but they are good to work with.
But like I said, take a pair of old used pads in and talk to a friction shop.
I think you'll like it.
