I've tried heat wrenches, and impact drivers but I can't get the nut off the swingarm spindle. It is starting to strip the nut but I still can't get it to budge. Any thoughts?
The nut should unscrew pretty easy, even if it's way over torqued. Use a 2ft breaker bar and a 6 point impact socket.
If your rounding off the nut your using 12 point or wrong size (or both?)
Do everything CrazyPJ said, he's spot on. You can also heat the nut and the quench with some oil. I like marvel mystery. Sometimes this helps to penetrate corrosion between the two parts.
I haven't done one for a long time but I think it's 24mm?
A cheap set of impact sockets from Harbor Freight Tools is more than adequate, just remember to get metric size
