how'dy guys

Needing some tips. Pulled my 1981 bol'dor cb900f engine out to inspect lower engine/tranny as some un-godly sound was coming from it when I start it up.

Ive got the engine on the garage floor (upside down) to pull the lower case off, but its stuck! all bolts are out and its only gettin jammed around the crank shaft on the magneto end.

Thinking i have to remove the magnet off the crank to free the case, but when i try turn the nut to loosen, it just spins the crank....

Id love to attach photos but having issues uploading.

Any/all suggestions welcome!

also, ive read the workshop manual on how to remove it. It states to put the bike in gear and apply rear break to loosen nut.... ive already pulled the engine, and half the case, so thas not really an option...

I'm guessing that an air powered impact wrench would do the job. You could probably take it to a mechanic that has one. It would only take a second to spin it off with one of those.

All good, borrowed a mates hand held impact driver, had to smack the crap outta it tho haha.

Cheers anyway :)
