CL360 Do you center breaker points plate before setting points?

On a CL360 do you center breaker points plate before setting points? Thanks in advance! -David

Yes I set it center in the housing first, depending on the wear of the point foot I might even rotate it a little CCW and the set the gap for the left side. That will make up for the clockwise turn you will be making when you set the timing.
