Custom Triple tree for 78 cb 750

Hi everyone , I am modding a 1978 cb 750 supersport , I am looking for a new aluminum set ( upper and lower ) triple tree I have only found 1 set from cycle x and they are pretty basic . There doesn't seem to be much out there for this model , so question is I believe I read the 1977 parts may be interchangeable ? Anyone know for sure ? As none of the web sites I have seen lists them as compatible ?
Any comments appreciated .
 
'77-'78 are interchangeable. Contact Mr E Machine Works. He's a member here, and has a forum on the mainpage.
